One of my life sayings is "Everything happens for a reason."
My husband would agree that I am not your "normal" girl. What defines normal anyway? He would tell you I definitly keep his life interesting. I'm pretty sure he loves every minute of it...or at least most of it.
When it comes to everyday stuff like money, food, household and faith - I am really laid back and go with the flow. I really don't overthink these things much because I stand behind my life saying "Everything happens for a reason." In these departments my child like faith is a strong suit that comes so natural for me.
I have however been struggling with trust, disappointment, relationships and uncertainty that has been testing my patience.
Let's be real...we all struggle. Those who don't are lying, in fact may be more troubled than you realize. During this lovely winter break I have been doing a lot of soul searching. Getting my thoughts back on track and letting go of trying to figure things out. All I needed was a little reminder that "Everything happens for a reason" and to notice the little ways that God is speaking to my heart (...sometimes BIG ways that I somehow miss!).
I will tell you what this world needs more of. Real people. Really REAL people. Not the kind that just listen to respond or bring everyone down with their negativity but Friends that are going to be there for you to listen, support and encourage in good times AND bad. I genuinely hope that you have real people in your life like this - they are so important as we are NOT meant to do life on our own. If not, begin the process of forming your "tribe". The REAL people to share your life with who have your back.
Find your "tribe".
I'm Sara. I'm Real.
This beautiful message goes out to my Daughters. To your Daughters. To your Sons. To You....
We all need this reminder from time to time. Just think - The same God who created mountains, oceans and galaxies...looked at you and thought the world needed one of you too.
If you're feeling less than any of these things - REACH OUT! There are people out there who care. I am one of them and my line is open.
