Here are some tips to stay cool
I am not complaining about this hotness one bit as it will start getting cold again before we know it!
1) Think light...
People in tropical climates wear loose, lightweight cotton and linen clothing.
Have a cool, damp clothe handy to wipe your face and wrap around your neck. For softball, we put ice water in a cooler to rinse our clothe often. Also, running cool water over your pulse point on your wrist, temples and face will cool you down fast. Lastly, Don't forget to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated!
Big meals causes your body to work harder to digest. Break up your meals into smaller...more frequent meals (snacks). You will feel cooler, and it's better for your metabolism anyway.
4) Add a little spice.
Scientists have discovered that spicy foods make you sweat without actually raising body temperature. When you sweat from the spice you'll feel cooler as your sweat evaporates.
Stay cool friends :)
